'He said the "saddest moment" of the debate was Hipkins' rule-out of reading, writing, and maths. It was then pointed out to him that Labour had not ruled that out...' My saddest moment was Chris and Chris defending billionaires with 50,000 more kids in poverty #nzpol

Two headlines in the same image. 'DJ Key: Cats, not tax' PM John Key fronts live radio show, refusing to discuss policy but happy to talk cats and rugby. The second headline says 'Second cut to New Zealand rating' Standard & Poor's downgrades NZ, hours after Fitch said it was cutting our credit rating

The link to Nicola Willis claiming the 'books' look better is direct. She's the Mum skiting her whanau has an extra $100 in the bank while forgetting the two kids she starved, the one who pissed off to Australia in desperation, and that her sister now sleeps on the street. This is not success #nzpol

Now, that's what I call journalism! Just pure newshound energy, 29 seconds of the facts and nothing but the facts. Nice work by Glenn McConnell. 🎬 👏 Maybe the *slightest* hint of an editorialising eye-roll at the end, but entirely understandable in the circumstances. www.stuff.co.nz/politics/361...

Something that truly breaks my heart, is that the thing most damaging to the National party hasnt been the homeless people that froze to death this year, the weak stance on racism or the thousands of children theyve pushed into poverty. It was Luxon insulting buisness owners.

Questions for #nzpol. We have 123 MPs currently. Verian poll in June assumed 124 MPs. Curia poll this week assumes 120. If the Curia poll factored in the overhang the headlines would be different. SO: How likely is an overhang next time? TPM, National or both? What party vote % will oust Willis?
