One un-questioned research practice (UQRP) that does as much harm as QRPs is ignoring sampling bias and selection effects. This is a nice paper that shows one way to be transparent and analytical about the problem. "Graphical Causal Models for Survey Inference" doi.org/10.1177/0049... #stats 🧪

I have officially defended my PhD thesis! Yey! In this thesis, I explored how machine learning and two-stage individual participant data meta-analysis can help researchers navigate information overload during the literature search and synthesis phases of systematic reviews and meta-analyses.
