#myOC_tober Day 5 (1 day late!) 2 friends. One is very superstitious, the other very logical but with a very big mouth (like my husband and I 😂) I was giving backstories and overthinking it too much. I chose a glimpse into their life this time. Battling a cold, with things to finish is awful!

Like have some sense of self preservation? never upload your 300 dpi resolution files, etc. keep your online posts at a respectable 74-150 dpi. Jpg’s preferablyz 😤 at 300+ most people can print your stuff at high res on billboards.

In August, I created a small 6 page manga for a contest. Theme was: Clothes It was hectic. I almost quit because I misread the deadline (as I usually do) but I managed to send it 10 min before the limit 😐 Not perfect AT ALL! But it's done! I have to translate the rest of 4koma for this story 🥲

Today is my birthday. 🎉 In lieu of sharing my artwork, I'm asking for people to share and/or donate to Kate’s Cat Rescue. Even $2 would help the rescue build to their next TNR day. I've worked with them in the past. They're amazing at helping the strays and ferals in Cornwall, Ontario.

Kate’s Cat Rescue is based in Cornwall, Ontario and works to TNR the feral and stray population, helps cats find foster homes, helps supply the foster homes with food and litter out of pocket to keep the burden off fosters, and to end the cycle of cats being placed in harsh conditions.

Every couple of generations or so, the mountains of Strangehollow are
visited by a true goliath from the west. This dragon visits these lands for
one reason only, to hunt The Red Death.
It is the colour of night, its long neck covered in giant pointed scales
which extend over its back and down to the tip of its tail. Its wings are
vast, engulfing the land below in shadow and able to turn day into night.
Its arrival always coincides with a violent lightning storm, starting far out
at sea and sweeping towards the western shores of Strangehollow and the
great mountain range where the red dragons dwell. It is believed that the
dragon itself...

"Sardine!", an 11 by 14 inch original acrylic painting of a calico mermaid cat. I first sketched the study for this purrmaid in Krita. I then transferred my study over to an MDF art panel. No AI was used to conceptualize this merkitty at all. Just looked at a few reference photos of cats and marine life.

Inspired in the Year of the Fire Horse 🥰 A tiny sketch for a dear friend on Patreon that I finished a while ago It's weird to finally see the light out of a severe burnout period. And in the Year of the Horse! Not all my tiny sketches have colors, it depends on the day! 🥰
