Hey Del, thanks for jumping on! I enjoy the tension and incredible atmosphere in solo extraction. For me, it needs UESC balanced for solo so that events like lockdown and upper complex are more attainable, and maybe extend the time limit. Let me send some loot home via a DCON and make solo contracts

From the vaults: an iOS port of the original Splatterhouse was released back in 2010. It contained an extra feature: Maskless Rick mode, in which you only had one heart to survive the game. I personally never got to play this one, but here's a screenshot of it in action.

The artwork of Robo Crush by Kazunori Nakazawa used on the cover of the #MSX2 release in Japan. Took some liberties in upper corner and bottom to add the missing bits, applying the usual upscale/clean/retouch process.

Robo Crush clean artwork by Kazunori Nakazawa used on the cover of the MSX2 release in Japan. Image depicts a blue and yellow mech holding a massive axe on its right hand, standing on top of some fallen green mech remains. A blue and yellow shield with a red crest sits next to it with some pink toned clouds on the bottom. Behind the mech there are some buildings with green windows and some more clouds. Up above what seems to be a huge explosion can be seen contrasting with the blue sky where also a huge flying ship can be seen with the words "Robo Crush" displayed on a panel, on the left side.

This late 1991 ad from Japan wants you to become an unlikely crusader of justice in Sega's Rent-a-Hero, an action RPG for the Mega Drive! Your family's house warming party is out of food. Your dad's in the living room dressed like a dinosaur. And somehow, you get a powered suit instead of pizza?!

The English text is actually part of the ad!

The rest describes how a small mistake turns a young boy into a superhero who goes on to solve a variety of cases. It's described as a modern-day action adventure RPG transforming you into a hero! Releases on September 20th for ¥8,700.

The bottom slip of the ad is for Wolf of the Battlefield II, a run 'n gun action game by Capcom also for the Mega Drive (and retailing on October 2nd for ¥7,000). In the West, it would be known as Mercs!

There’s this “AI is actually useful for coding” undercurrent that’s infected even largely anti-AI spaces, and I don’t think people are really going to realize how much asbestos is in the walls until the software ecosystem collapses.
