I've been sick for most of the last week and it's been extremely weird because it hasn't come with the traditional symptoms but it does feel like I've been run over by a truck. Thankfully not COVID - but I don't know what else it could be. Like a weird flu?

I would argue that “remixing” has always been a communications imperative, and it has just been devalued or lost due to time constraints due to academic workloads. A paper is written for academics in a given field. A blog post is for a different audience. And again for newsletters :)

When I do have some free time (lol, what's that right now), I do plan on transcribing the p(doom) melody because I found it super fascinating on first listen...but I gotta transcribe it before really digging into it.
