This is Maeve. She may be the sweetest, most good natured, most trusting dog I have ever met. She was abandoned in DC last week, and since I’m not able to adopt a dog now, I had to turn her over to the Brandywine Animal Shelter. I want to make sure this absolute delight of a dog finds a good home.

Rewatched this recently, and it still holds up as an 80s/90s firm-SF film - prolly up there with Contact and Gattaca Is it the artistic achievement of 2001? Nah Is it fun and interesting SF and a worthy precursor to Newtonian/Relativistic scifi attempts like Babylon 5 and The Expanse? Heck yeah
