The analogy of the One Ring for GenAl is quite powerful, especially when you consider how it seduces users with the promise of easy power. That quote about evil being unable to create anything new feels particularly relevant to the way these models remix existing human art. Honestly 100% my problem is when someone comes and annoys me about it, they DRAIN ME. So for me it's not really (only) the judgement it's that people telling me I'm embarrassing or I'm doing things unconventionally are like energy vampires. Unfortunately I do care about the social aftermath of it.
