Fulop was always an underdog in the NJ gov race but it’s been incredible to see him pick up so much momentum running on an anti-machine, pro-housing, pro-transit platform. He has a real shot of winning and if you live in NJ you should vote for @stevenfulop.bsky.social

Long regarded as the front-runner for the Democratic ticket in the 2025 NJ gubernatorial race, Mikie Sherrill seems to be struggling to extend her support base beyond the party machine... www.northjersey.com/story/opinio...

Rep. Mikie Sherrill would have been the Democratic front-runner if the NJ county-line ballot still existed. Is she really in the lead?

If you are a liberal in deep blue territory, one thing you could try doing right now is figuring out how to replace your Democratic member of Congress next year. With very few exceptions, the typical safe seat Dem is not meeting the moment. Find someone who will and help them.

In many ways it's fitting that the showdown between monarchy and democracy ends up being over NYC congestion pricing. Cities are where the power of kings were first challenged, and few things are more fundamental to government than control of public space. The cameras are staying on!
A cartoon with a sign that looks like a classic NYC no parking sign but is modified to say "No King Any Time", above a cartoon showing a cybertruck with a crown on it running over speed bumps and sawhorse barricades labeled Congress, Executive Branch, and Courts. It is stopped in front of bollards with a Congestion Pricing sign above it. In the background on the left is the Washington DC skyline with tire tracks coming out of a building. On the right behind the congestion pricing sign are the Statue of Liberty in front of the Jersey City skyline, an NYC walkup apartment with a bodega, people on bikes and walking, the Manhattan skyline, a subway train, and a bus in a bus only lane, and Pizza Rat.

fulop (mayor of jersey city, candidate for nj governor this year) is leaning hard into the "democratic tea party" aspect lately; he was already doing the anti-dem establishment thing but has really kicked it up a notch, imo
fundraising email from steven fulop: Over the next few days, I'll be hosting two virtual town halls and I hope you can join me. One of the conversations is focused on vulnerable communities in a Trump Administration and one is focused the political landscape in NJ during this primary.

On Sunday from 3-4pm, join me for a political conversation online as we discuss:

Why I'm running with more than 35 candidates for Assembly and County Commissioner under the slogan 'Democrats for Change'
Why we are not seeking the county party's slogan at each convention.
    The structure of our campaign.

And on Monday from 6:45 - 7:45pm, join me online as we discuss:

In the age of Trump, how we will defend the rights of NJ's most vulnerable communities, including immigrants and members of the LGBTQ+ community.
This event is co-sponsored by BlueWave NJ, Action Together New Jersey, NJ11 for Change, and Indivisible Cranbury.

Please join us live on Zoom and bring your ideas, concerns, and questions. You can register for both events below.

Adams must be removed. The city cannot sustain being governed for nearly a year by a Mayor who is being coerced by Trump admin in order to escape charges. This corruption poses a real threat to the people of the city. He should have resigned a while ago, but will not. So it’s time for him to go.
