Camera in @mortalshellgame.bsky.social still needs work, sadly. It moves too much and too quickly all on its own. It needs to chill, especially if you’re on a slope and locked on to an enemy. Also, the number of flashbang fade-to-whites is horrible for the eyes. There are many things that I like —

Those moments where Davinci Resolve just crashes while uploading videos are even more annoying than when it crashes when it's actually rendering something. Like, I get that it might overload the PC when it's rendering out a video at 300fps, but when it's not doing that... that's just dumb...

Echo Weaver was a surprise hit for me from the NextFest demos I’ve covered so far. I’m still worried it’s time puzzle shenanigans may challenge my pea brain in later areas, but the demo left me wanting more — which is kinda the point of a demo.

Was enjoying my time with the @mortalshellgame.bsky.social beta/playtest thing, until the awful swamp boss. Terrible camera issues and an absolute difficulty cliff compared to everything up until that point. Good job this is a playtest, because dear lord this boss is kinda trash.
