At the top it says "Somewhere near Owensboro, Kentucky". Shen is saying "VIRTUOUS and HARD-WORKING COUNTRY FOLK. I have once again come to corrupt YOU."

Panel 2: The farmer, wearing overalls, a white shirt, a dark blue jacket, and a straw hat, points a revolver at Shen and says "Not today." In his other hand he has a pitchfork.

Panel 3: The farmer shoots Shen directly in the heart, his aim true.

Panel 4: Shen stands for a moment, a smoking bullet hole in his sweatshirt and his face cloaked in shadow.
