Played @johnharper.bsky.social's Lasers & Feelings with the TTRPG class today. They loved it, but maybe 2 out of 20 had any familiarity with Star Trek. MtG talks a big game about Universes Beyond bringing in new players, but what about when the next generation doesn't care about The Next Generation?

Great to see someone dig into this little thread in Realis! I'll have more to say on post-Irrealis, BUT: While I didn't have narrativism v gamism specifically in mind (re: narrasoulic v mechanicalogica, I did find that they overlapped productively with the philosophical ideas I wanted to explore.
