Under decrim, s3x workers will have clearer access to mechanisms like the Fair Work Commission and WorkSafe WA. In 1996 in the case "Phillipa v Carmel" a s3x worker sued her boss for unfair dismissal. This was one of the first cases in the world of a s3x worker getting compensation from a bad boss.

WA SW Laws are a barrier to safety and decrim is the only answer. Currently in WA we are permitted to work alone from a residence, alone from a hotel/motel, or alone from a client’s home. We can work in the broth, tho the broth itself is not legal.

YES IN WA = Working alone from a residence, hotel/motel, or client’s home
Work in a brothel (although the brothel itself is not legal)

NO IN WA = Working in groups of two or more

It is not unusual for SWers to be treated badly by the law. But is it really necessary? When most other states and territories have reformed their approach, surely WA can do so too. The forced cavity inspections, police powers to compel sex workers to hand over information...
