The REAL story here is not so much about OpenAI The REAL story all along is that Australia needs much better cyber security in all government agencies and, corporations here must be put on notice that they too need to vastly strengthen their cyber security and keep far less customer data

The One Nation vote is a map of government neglect
One Nation’s rise is often treated as cultural anger. New data point to something more concrete: poor health, financial insecurity and communities left without the services that make life work.

To be honest - the best part of this is seeing Mercedes and BMW's driving into flood water under the Montague Bridge in Melbourne which is prone to road flooding after substantial rains I don't know why there aren't grandstand seats available to spectators because its a regular event and a hoot!

If voters continue to be complacent at the ballot box and get sucked in again by the Duopoly - Labor and the LNP IPA - or One Nation it is absolutely clear .. the body politic will never address our most existential issues It is only through community representation and accountability that we can

Gekko @gekko.bsky.social · 3h
This is just a hint at what the Duopoly and One Nation - the majority in our body politic - are doing if voters continue their complacency at the ballot box A small circle of trusted acolytes surrounding the body politic - the only Australians trusted by politicians to keep the grift going NOT you

When governments pursue tulips and there's no interest or capital left for basic housing AND there's a credible level of global uncertainty Who's going to get hurt and lose out? Data centres are sucking in global and domestic capital - a corporate agenda at the expense of basic government services

Don't purchase an apartment until a future Victorian government properly, transparently investigates developers, strata management companies and totally reforms the Body Corporations Act so that strata owners have proper protections against corruption THAT IS LIKELY TO NEED A ROYAL COMMISSION

Gekko @gekko.bsky.social · 3h
All the more reason here to make sure that the Greens see a significant increase in voter support to ensure that the ONLY viable party left in our body politic that will ever come anywhere close to working for voters, bravely takes on the Duopoly and One Nation
0117
Gekko @gekko.bsky.social · 3h
Data centres at any cost These are tulips - EVERYTHING centred around buying tulips which sucked in huge investments, savings to the point that EVERYTHING else was ignored History tells you what happened and who got hurt Data centres above basic housing needs, you work out who loses and gets hurt

Human rights, First Nations people and children ... just two casualties in jurisdictions like the NT and QLD that Gina bought and voters unquestioningly swallowed the ideology The same unelected Billionaire currently trying to Victoria via One Nation

Well done Labor voters! You knew what Labor was like and that they had a corporate-only agenda before you voted last but still gave them a landslide victory While you're now stressing about cost-of-living you've now imposed an every Australian the added burden of supporting a failing business

Gekko @gekko.bsky.social · 30/09/2026
Heat-mapping animals alongside highways and rural roads in Australia is a great idea If only Labor were capable of funding and driving such innovation in our industries! If only this country did more than simply dig holes for coal and iron ore and started actually value-adding products!

New transformative leadership, energy and a clear mission statement The Greens signal a challenge to ideology, the body politic group think and a clear alternative against the extreme right in favour of communities empowered to seek solutions to existential issues Vote to rebuild politics

Australia … listening? If you’re not focused on ensuring you break up ideological big parties and politicians and start focussing on community independents with solutions, you leave a body politic in place that will continue to betray us all We need deep reform with clear goals like this

👉 How can 3% be unsure? What didn't they understand when Ed Sheeran sat on the fence in the face of evil? 👉 41% still prepared to vote Republican! There's a lesson for Australia here. The destruction of democracy, corruption, racism etc isn't going to move around 30 - 40% of voters here either

Australian exports to China in three key sectors are all slowing. Businesses will need to meet the challenge.

Cyber security means continual vigilance (leaving email addresses unattended is a simple red flag!) and continual review Much of corporate Australia runs on legacy systems and attitudes Cyber security is our problem - no-one else's and political grandstanding is simply a distraction and nuisance

If Australian voters like this tone inside politics then be very careful about what you'll get Voters seem to think aggressive politicians are playing good politics Build a body politic that is quietly focused on Australia and Australians - and solutions That never comes from party politics

It never matters what voters think, that's by design Minns, never elected premier, now under the control of an opposing faction and warlord - and THEY will decide Never voters And in the next election all party votes will be hijacked by warlords and factions and used in ways voters never intended
