An interesting @theatlantic.com panel discussion with Andrew Card and Karl Rove about their experiences the day of 9/11, but it ends with an excellent rant by Rove about the bigots, etc. who are polluting the Republican Party www.youtube.com/watch?v=M2HB...

tl;dr: A government watchdog investigated what STAT found in its Pulitzer-finalist "Denied by AI" series and found: -health insurance companies' denials for care were overturned 97% of the time when they were appealed -82% of people do not appeal and thus were wrongly denied care for no reason

Most people misunderstand the Schrödinger's Cat Paradox. It's not that the cat is neither dead nor alive until it is observed. It's about a cat standing in a doorway and not being able to decide which side of the door it wants to be on, while you are standing there observing it. #physics

Etiquette tips for those of you who send AI note takers to meetings: 1. Don't. 2. If you still do, find a way to turn off *all* the messages they post in the meeting chat. Nobody benefits from that garbage and they obscure messages from real people.
