Good explainer about the 🇨🇦/🇺🇸 potash situation. Saskatchewan is the epicentre of Canada’s potash mining and you don’t have to drive very far out of Saskatoon to see our massive mines. It seems that everybody knows someone who works for a potash company.

Early in my marriage we drove to SK from RD, AB to visit husband’s family in Preeceville. As we passed through Wynyard or Foam Lake he pointed out a potash mine like it was a big deal.
