I can’t stop you from using AI to draft or polish a pitch letter for your book proposal. But I can tell you that if you do, you really should read it very closely before sending because sometimes it just makes stuff up about (a) you, (b) your book, (c) me, or (d) my employer, and sometimes all four

This idea applies to other things. If you wear a big sun hat, a polo shirt, and a pair of baggy cargo shorts to the zoo, you can tell people wholly fabricated, rather incorrect information about the animals and they will believe you.
