AOC is propagating dangerous nonsense about MAHA: That it’s “not partisan,” driven by legitimate concerns. No. Stop it. It’s a form of extremism that stands in a long tradition of paranoid conspiracism on the Far Right, channeling vague grievances into a radical project. I spelled this out here:

Dolly uses some great blue notes in the chorus melody to "9 to 5." The tune is in F#. On the word "nine" in "workin' nine to five", she's singing a clear A-natural over B7 chord. But on the second syllable of "livin'" in "what a way to make a livin'" she is right in the crack between A and A-sharp.

It’s worse than this. Having been in the room with many of them (long ago, before I knew they were psychopaths), the tycoons who are left running the industry have an active contempt for ordinary people, including their own workers. They actively want to oppress, control and punish them.

One of the hardest thing I've tried to get US government officials to understand over the past 15 years, including when I was an Army civilian, is that Russian doctrine is explicit that they take no physical actions until they have set the intellectual/conceptual theory via influence operations. 1/

Hi hello I was going to do a full thread on the Great American State Fair later but it seems I'm starting early: why in the fuck are PragerU, Patriot Academy, and other far right groups the ENTIRETY of the Department of Education booth
Two banners

First banner reads:

Welcome to the Great Experiment

250 years of American invention - a story still in the making

Two hundred and fifty years ago, America made a bet: that ordinary people with extraordinary ideas could build a nation unlike any before. That bet is still paying off.

The Cade Museum for Creativity and Invention presents this exhibit in collaboration with the U.S. Department of Commerce - home of the United States Patent and Trademark Office, the institution that turned creative freedom into economic fuel.

At the Cade, we believe so deeply in thinking and acting like an inventor that we gave it a name: Inventivity.® This exhibit is brimming with it.

The race is well underway, but it's never too late to jump in. So gear up, strap in, and take a lap

GEORGE WASHINGTON April 30, 1789 - March 4, 1797

Whereas it is the duty of all Nations to acknowledge the providence of Almighty God, to obey his will, to be grateful for his benefito, and humbly to implore his protection and favor

SERVICE

"Let me serve voluntarily; then I will, with the greatest pleasure in life, devote my services to the expedition without any other reward, than the satisfaction of serving my country"

RELIGION

"Of all the dispositions and habits which lead to political prosperity, religion and morality are indispensable supports."

CHARACTER

"To the distinguished Character of Patriot, it should be our highest Glory to add the more distinguished Character of Christian."the journey continues from here" with QR codes to Wallbuilders, the American Journey Experience, Patriot Academy, PragerU, and AmericanMinute.comStickers with a QR code to sign up to be a constitution coach with Patriot Academy

If I were DNC chair, here’s what I would do in the first 60 days: 1) Fire all of the vendors and “consultants.” Whatever the DNC is paying them for, cut it off. 2) Restructure the DNC into two branches: branch A is intra-party operations, branch B is communications and direct voter contact.

I'm afraid I can't just sit here and say nothing when another law professor gives false testimony to Congress about the meaning of the Fourteenth Amendment. Ilan Wurman has given false testimony to Congress, being fully on notice of the falsity. I do not think this is fairly debatable. 1.
The case of temporary visitors was more complicated at common law. The
parents, if lawfully present, were under the temporary protection of the sovereign.
That is why one judge in a famous case, Lynch v. Clarke, held in 1844 that a child
born of temporary sojourners was a citizen. But the rule was contested because of
increasing international travel and the resulting dual allegiances. Joseph Story
suggested that an exception for temporary visitors would be a “reasonable
qualification” to the rule. Henry St. George Tucker in his treatise stated flatly that
temporary visitors fell outside the common-law
