Gosh I really liked this. I’ve been feeling burnt out on moral praise and blame debates but Miranda Fricker had a nice approach. I really liked the way she called the determinist position of “no blame for anyone” a metaphysical argument for a natural / social situation. Wrong tool. #PhilSky

Just finished the audiobook of @davidedmonds100.bsky.social's biography of Derek Parfit. Very much enjoyed it, both for the personal angle and the accessible summaries of various philosophical debates. I guess now I have to add "Wittgenstein's Poker" to my list, because that one also sounds great.
