We’re not growing food anymore. We’re growing ingredients. Most of what’s farmed around the world ends up in a factory, sold as a commodity, processed into something else entirely. The foundation of any healthy food system should be whole foods which people take home and eat. Julian Baggini👇

Food is cheaper than at any point in history and injustice is at the heart of it. For some to feast, others must starve or slave away. Fixing it means doing something politically unpopular: making food more expensive. @JulianBaggini says it has to be done anyway. Link👇 youtu.be/zkuib2040y0?...

It wasn't really that the BBC wouldn't find it - but frustration at how difficult it was to get philosophy programmes commissioned. After Philosophy Bites appeared, it became easier!
