...it was raining so hard the dripline off the fly did splash onto the inner tent a bit. If I knew it was going to be that wet, I would have brought a bigger tent, but for the dry nights it was great. Not much room in the tent for gear if that matters.

That's the 1p Nemo Dragonfly Bikepack Osmo. The conditions that night and where it was pitched provided quite the test. Water was running under the tent floor and out under the vestibule, but inside it was dry. It's small, so my quilt did get damp after rubbing against the tent wall.

First Days of Fall Redux The second day of the trip featured a sopping wet night on Lake Crescent. #bikepacking #cycling #photography

Thank you! I was thinking about riding the entire Olympic Discovery Trail and researched using public transit as a shuttle from Port Townsend to La Push. It is totally possible with 4 or 5 buses from the various agencies in that region. 👍

First Days of Fall I just got back from 5 days on the Olympic Discovery Trail. Wonderful time to be there other than a rather wet 24 hours! #bikepacking #cycling #photography

Thanks Connor, much appreciated! The rear panniers are the Microwave by Rockgeist mounted to an Old Man Mountain Divide rack, and on the front are the Ortlieb Fork Packs mounted directly to the fork. I highly recommend both of these!
