Anyone else think Sinestro looks like Uncle Leo? #Lanterns

I love new features just as much as the next person but there’s no way in hell that I’m going to risk bricking my Elektron device. I also assume that these hacks void the warranty?

Pd's free tools for messing with signal have a big update coming soon, with features like a set of snake~ objects that split, sum, and pick signals (think cable snakes, sound folks). All that and some @vcvrack.com and microtonal action, if you missed it...

I watched Star Wars for like the millionth time this weekend. Luke was so whiny when he couldn’t go into town to get power converters, but he didn’t say shit when his aunt and uncle were barbecued by the empire. I can’t stop thinking about it.

What's on your bookshelf that the Internet Archive doesn't have? There's an app for that. Scan a book's barcode or ISBN to see whether the Internet Archive needs it for preservation and digitization. Scan your shelves. Save a book. help.archive.org/help/donate-... 🧵

Book cover titled “Vanishing Culture” on a teal background. Pixel-art style graphics show a VHS tape, open book, film reel, chain link, and vinyl record dissolving into digital fragments. I work at a public library. People who want to use AI seem to have no trouble doing so. People who don't want to use AI have a harder time. I crowdsourced and then finalized this document "How to disable or avoid intrusive AI" and then gave it a short URL: notoai.org Please pass along if it's useful
