It isnt tho. They could have litteraly just done researchs normaly and say "according to [Website/book/Any valid source]"... Since when tf is Chatgpt a good source, even without talking about every problems with Chatgpt, this is fucking lazy work at best.

Hey, game devs, I know it can be tricky to come up with written blurbs when you're offering game keys for coverage. It's your sales pitch But, if I catch even a whiff of something that smells like your blurb was written by ChatGPT, I'm sending that email straight to the trash

If you don't need that tho there's MyAnimeList which is great too.

Simkl is great. They have Films, TV shows, and Anime, quite useful if you want to have everything at the same place (Pretty sure you can also import your Letterboxd history to Simkl if I remember corrrectly.)

Sunday Taquitos #30: Flock This! Art by @ivan-ehlers.bsky.social

A cartoon of two people standing under a flock camera speaking to each other. The man says “I’m fine with mass surveillance ‘cause I’m not doing anything wrong.” The woman responds “… Until someone changes the definition of what’s ‘wrong.’”

slightly less cursed quality, ALT text, and a mention this is by Hot Paper Comics / Martin Rosner

4-panel comic
1: wizard in glasses and blue robes next to a sword stuck in stone saying "Pull the sword from the stone and become the new king"
2: wider shot reveals a person in peasant clothes asking "Are there any other available jobs?"
3: an even wider angle shows a cat in a tree, the wizard replies "Get the cat out of th tree and become the new librarian"
4: The peasant sitting at a desk reading a book with a smile on their face, cat from tree is sleeping on the desk and behind them is a full bookshelf.

Kids need/deserve traumatic films. Films that show death or lasting consequences that aren't resolved almost instantly. Fear, anger, grief and frustration should be part of kids movies. Kids arent stupid, they feel big emotions just like adults, they deserve to see those experiences reflected back.

Tags research are great for this! The website also has a button to show you either a random oc or random profil from the whole website! Else what I personaly like to do sometimes is watch other peoples profile (for exemple some I already attacked)

You know what you *don't need* a latest $1000+ PC for? To play old games from across dozens of platforms that you can pirate and emulate on anything from the past decade. Tens of thousands of actual games.

Not to pry on the recent (very sad) news, but as a reminder:

Buy indie games, buy self-published games. Stop buying from all those companies laying off/not caring about players

For me, the games ive played under 2hours where sometimes some of the most impactful ones. A shorter game shouldnt be a sign of the game quality, a 20minutes well written game is way better than a game with more than 2hours but a uninteresting or messy story.
