Look, I get it, the fans love shipping and cute fan art, but like... it's just not true to who these people are. Dante being surrounded by sexy demon ladies in the games and not even blinking is a part of who he is. The fact that he DOESN'T want to bang them makes him more unique and interesting.

Having had a bit of time to reflect on it... I truly think that Netflix's Adi Shankar's Devil May Cry deciding to pair up Dante and Lady is on the same level of "What in the actual fuck were you people thinking???" as the movie version of The Killing Joke shipping Batman and Batgirl. Just... why???

Batman and Batgirl having sex in The Killing Joke movie

Dante and Lady kissing in Netflix Devil May Cry

Be like me 1. Start new video game 2. Decide you're only going to play that one game and nothing else 3. Don't look up any videos or guides until you're done 4. Put on video about game you've played before as background noise 5. Suddenly get the urge to replay the old game instead Don't be like me

Piracy is not an effective form of boycott. Companies still benefit when you engage with their product, when you talk about it online, etc. You wanna meaningfully boycott a game/utility/movie/etc? Boycott it all the way. Use or play or watch something else altogether. Don't give them that boost.

Off the top of my head: * Tidus in Final Fantasy X doing the fake bad laugh * The opening cutscene in Devil May Cry 3 (Dante beating up a bunch of dudes in his office) * That One Scene in Mega Man X4. You know the one.

Did I do the exact inverse of this when I played Dark Souls and Sekiro (putting the attack buttons on X and Y instead of R1 and R2)? Yes. Yes I did. Is it incredibly hypocritical of me to make fun of this guy? No. It’s only hypocritical when OTHER people do it. :3

I think it's beautiful that Sega has chosen to celebrate the 20th anniversary of Retronauts by repeating the same amateur mistake that almost killed the podcast (engaging in real time with the entirety of the Sonic fanbase). This official Discord is 100% the 2026 version of the Sonic call-in episode

I saw the person trying to spread that shit. They were very clearly a psychopath looking to make some noise, not somebody acting in good faith trying to take a stand against GenAI. I'm getting the game the day it comes out just to spite that person.

I think in the modern internet age people often forget the line between "keeping up with the news" and giving yourself the mental health version of radiation poisoning. You don't ALWAYS need to be absorbing the horrors. It's not healthy and arguably not productive. You weren't put on Earth for that

Are you interested in the Trails series, but are unsure of committing to 13 games (and counting)? Trails in the Sky FC and SC tell a whole, satisfying story. You could walk away happy after SC, even if you never play another Trails game. (But hopefully you'll want to continue!)

Trails in the Sky, usually called Trails in the Sky FC (First Chapter)

Trails in the Sky 1st Chapter (remake of Trails in the Sky FC)

Trails in the Sky 2nd Chapter (remake of Trails in the Sky SC)
