Man I really gotta finish the bodyguard fic, it’s very cute but I’ve mostly lost the actual plot in service of making Lu Xun be incredibly adorably in love and having Cao Pi be deeply in denial of having caught feelings himself for several months.

first you need to make up a guy, and then make something bad happen to them, and then have progressively worse things happen to them until you're back at the begining again

Why in god’s name is GPU memory usage such an important consideration for DW3R that they find the need to slap it in the top corner of the main setting menu?

The Kimono Gallery @roger1952.bsky.social · 30/09/2026

Created around 1795, Japan, this woodblock print (ukiyo-e) forms the left sheet of Utamaro's celebrated diptych portraying women engaged in everyday culinary preparations.

Crouching in quiet focus, a woman prepares ingredients with a kitchen knife, her pale lavender-gray kimono adorned with an intricate geometric lattice pattern (shippō-tsunagi). Beside her, a coopered cedar water bucket (oke) proudly bears Kitagawa Utamaro's signature (Utamaro hitsu). Behind her, a mother in a slate-blue robe carries a young child piggyback (onbu), the infant leaning affectionately against her neck. In the background, an iron kettle (tetsubin) rests atop a clay stove alongside staved wooden buckets bound with braided green hoops. The scene evokes an intimate sensory atmosphere: the rhythmic scraping of steel against food, the gentle hum of boiling water in an iron kettle, the earthy aroma of woodsmoke and dried fish, and the soft, bustling warmth of an Edo-period household kitchen.
Created around 1795, this woodblock print (ukiyo-e) forms the left sheet of Utamaro's celebrated diptych portraying women engaged in everyday culinary preparations. Renowned as a master of bijinga (pictures of beautiful women), Utamaro elevated genre scenes (fūzokuga) by turning his gaze away from the idealized courtesans of the pleasure quarters to capture the authentic, graceful rhythm of domestic life. The print offers a vibrant document of late 18th-century Japanese material culture, highlighting the functional beauty of traditional kitchenware and daily textiles. Every utilitarian item—from the hand-forged knife to the coopered water buckets—reflects the spirit of monozukuri (artisanal craftsmanship), where everyday tools are crafted with understated dignity and structural integrity.

i should clarify, when i write people doing bad things, it's because i am bad. they are me. more importantly, when you read about those bad things, they also become you. that's how story works. in fact, you are going to think about murder before this skeet ends. how's that feel, sicko.

got my flu & covid juice and experienced unique and unprecedentedly painful injection techniques at the hands of the tech. luckily I’ve been tempered by my advanced training methods

Drawing of a figure seated politely to receive vaccinations. Next to them, a tech wearing a face mask and impressively robust biceps is violently and powerfully stabbing their arm with a blunt knife representing a syringe. Blood is spraying everywhere including both their faces. The tech cheerfully comments, impressed, “Wow, you’re doing so well! Usually people at least flinch or yell haha.” The patient says “Thank you” with a neutral, meditative expression and no indication of pain. This is because they are thinking about crazy insane explicit yaoi to cope.

Arguably Basara should probably be on this list but I did try to limit it to the fundamental anime I watched in high school. Also I was high on DayQuil when I filled this out I’m astounded I remembered what I did.
