Next day it started swooping me again when I was out cycling. Took my son with me, we both fed him, he stopped swooping us, that year and since. 111

Years ago a magpie nearby started swooping me when I was riding through his territory. I took him some food one day and he stopped. The following year I saw him swooping other people but he would leave me alone. 111

It can be serious, they have nasty beaks and very rarely a person loses an eye. Getting hit on the top of the skull or on the ear by their beak is very painful. They swoop people unfamiliar to them.
