I told someone that I spent about twenty hours on a piece while tabling this weekend and they seemed floored…to which I said that is probably one of my faster pieces (I’m very slow as an artist) and that so many of my peers spend much longer than this People really don’t know how long art takes

Hey all, my roommate’s cat is going through some medical stuff (again!) and it is very possible he has FIP Wish her and him good thoughts! If it is, she is in it for the long haul with treatment…but gosh she cannot catch a break with his health which is fair with him being so young

Being told a few month ago all artists need to learn to show their whole process to prove they’re not AI, and this week learning AI is being trained on process posts to make fake process vids feels like what I should have expected (I’ve never loved making process posts, so that’s okay)

I don’t wanna jinx this, but Pomona’s insurance kicked in finally after that two week waiting period (I put in claims for all her emergency visits, but was denied because of this) and today it instantly paid for her check up I just got home from! Like, I’m shocked

Day 4 of introduction is going well! Alexei has been very rambunctious (he gets so excited we have to let him calm down in another room from time to time cause he won’t give her a play break, but this is happening less and less), Pom likes to play with him too. They get along great👍

My cat Seti was the nicest cat I ever met. Then after he passed and my roommate got her cat Alexei I was like wow well I don’t know how it is possible, but he may be even sweeter. Then I got my new cat Pomona and she is maybe EVEN nicer?
