Interesting that the Chancellor has said that the discount rate for use in the Treasury Green Book etc will come down to 3% (from 3.5). Should (slightly) favour investments that take longer to deliver. As a Green Book nerd I look forward to seeing the analytical work behind this change.

agree Hetan. Also metrics that allow you to make decisions are fairly straightforward in private sector (ie profits!) but both unclear what they should be and often hard to calculate in the non profit worlds. So many private sector people feel 'lost' when first joining charity boards.
