On the surface, the DOJ and Louisiana are adversaries in the abortion pill case before the Fifth Circuit, but they're in agreement on the ultimate goal of extending existing state abortion bans to all 50 states. I.e, the DOJ is supposed to be defending the FDA, but is really on Louisiana's side.
