On September 25, 1978, PSA Flight 182 collided with a small Cessna over San Diego, killing all 135 people onboard. Two people were killed in the Cessna as well as 7 people on the ground. Flight 182 was a Sacramento to San Diego Flight, via Los Angeles.

Today, we remember the 7 crew and 104 passengers who died onboard Alaska Airlines Flight 1866. The aircraft crashed into a mountain on approach near Juneau, Alaska. To date, it is the worst accident in Alaska Airlines history.

Flight Attendants support @sbworkersunited.org’s call to boycott Starbucks. Starbucks is the biggest labor law violator in modern history. It’s time for management to finalize a contract with union baristas and stop union-busting. No coffee until a contract!

Starbucks has violated U.S. labor law more than any other company in modern history. The NLRB and its judges have found that Starbucks committed hundreds of labor violations and there are currently more than 550 unresolved unfair labor practice charges still pending against the company.

At a time when working-class people across the country and struggling in a challenging economy, it is no longer possible to be a Starbucks customer and in support of workers. Choosing to spend money at Starbucks in choosing a law breaking corporation over the baristas who make your coffee everyday exactly as you ask for it.
