No. Pay creatives their money to do what they do best and stop taking shortcuts with slop. No one wants to read that shit. If you can't afford to pay the costs in 2026 it takes to produce a graphic novel, you're not a publisher, you're broke and you need to pivot to something you can afford to do.

CREEPY #75 was published OTD in 1975 with one of the finest comic stories of the decade. "Thrillkill" by Jim Stenstrum & Neal Adams told via flashback of a rooftop sniper's downtown killing spree, influenced by the film TARGETS. Editor Louise Jones considered Stenstrum's scripts "perfect."

People tend to support awful people. Why? Beats me. Something in the water maybe. It is a historical constant. "Good" people are generally acknowledged in hindsight or they become martyrs whose image and memory is used by awful people as tools for their agendas. Christianity is a good example.
