After playing an hour of "Feathers Edge" from @clockworkacorn.com. Not ONLY does it have a VERY cute, elegant and cool Hoopoe character you play as. But the gameplay is also so tight, responsive, wonderfully explorative & combat is just SO much fun. Love what you done here guys & AM GONNA PLAY MORE!

I've never seen such an effort to censor a document as I have the Amnesty International report on gender critical groups because of JK Rowling. They removed the report from the Wayback Machine and now I got a DMCA strike on my Google Drive for having it. It was deleted and removed from my account.

Hard agree, but with one caveat; Discord community updates, when all posts are conversation threaded, you can't start a post with a line break (without a sneaky braille unicode glyph), and format tools are obfuscated enough that you come off as snobbish id you use the markdown? 🎯 Emoji bullet

oh, haha, I have nickel too. Got my ears pierced and it was taking MONTHS to heal, switched out the stainless steel for titanium and it was fixed in a few days. Constant "bug bite" right under the winder if I wear a watch. I put nail varnish on any jean studs that might touch my skin

I have a building a few blocks from me that's been used for several shoots lately, mostly rifle fire in the evenings. The local council is very good at communicating when it's happening so it's not as alarming as it would be. What a surreal privilege to hear these sounds in this context only, huh?

My own machine is a smallish laptop. It only has a single gum slot, so when I went through this exact consideration (talos2, 80gb, wtaf) I had to replace my whole OS drive. I bought the new one with an enclosure and swapped the old OS drive into it.

I picked up this raggedy jersey as my next visible mending project. I had intended to run a gradient yarn through the damage and refinish the collar in crochet. Instead, I seem to have accidentally learned to repair the knit. Curious to see which way it goes as I get to the more complex bits.

We're going to see such a hard shift in culture toward embracing the aesthetics of naivety as a reaction to rapid information and genAI, "cringe" will shift from derogatory to complimentary. Graphic design is going to be so dominated by lot of collage, mspaint, and single photo subject matter.
