What does it mean to "Align #AI with #humanvalues"? Well, we've had "alignment with human values" for 500+ years: It's called "the #law." And for 2,000+ years: "#faithtraditions." Because EU "human values" aren't Texas "human values." And *within* those countries, "human values" vary drastically!

Anybody who claims that #LLMs lack #reasoning capabilities, since they're just "next-word generators": Google #Gemini, in this example, is clearly doing reasoning — or at least as much "reasoning" as typical humans. "Gemini, based on this photo, on what date was this photo taken?" Nailed it.
