I do think that ‘Hi-def video of horrible shit’ is our generation’s version of smoking or leaded gasoline tbh. As in it’s something that future generations will look back on and be appalled that we thought it was ok to have as an environmental hazard.

I think it’s interesting to consider what modes/forms of authorship are enabled by AI/LLM’s; to what extent does originality result from oneself, as opposed to the contingencies of one’s reality? If you author an original observation, are you really “being” original or merely recording it occurrence

I don’t get why there needs to be a special drug for the death penalty. Slam that IV drip full of morphine and be done with it why get cute with “this drug is to paralyze your body, this one to anesthetize, this one to stop your heart”

Ald Bennett Lawson decided it was better to raise property taxes and municipal fees rather than raise taxes on corporations, while representing a ward/neighborhood which voted for Harris at Assad-like margins With democrats like Bennett, who needs republicans!

After the market crashes I feel like we’re guna look back in 10 or 20 years and recognize that American investors are performing a “self-less” act by inadvertently subsidizing AI research for the rest of the world, cuz there’s no way OpenAI exists after the crash
