People didn't seem to like Mary Shelley's Frankenstein very much but look at the robe Kenneth Branagh wears in this scene. That's cinema, dude. www.youtube.com/watch?v=iI2K...

I quite liked it. It kinda felt like a sword and sandals film in space. The ending was a bit generic tho.

fanart of the new Bacchusmon and Junomon child levels from the Iliad vpet! #digimon #fanart

fanart of the snake and bird child level digimon revealed for the Iliad vpets. The snake is pink and wears a purple hoodie of its own shed skin, with red and black eye markings on the hood and a popped collar (red inside). It has black leather wrappings and metal zippers across its hoodie-body, and the tail ends in a large zipper tie. It's smiling at the camera, mouth open.
The bird is a blue (seemingly) crow with black wing feathers, a white toga and a white-tipped feather on the top of its head. It's leaping, wings spread, with its beak open.

Here's a #VGenComm I did of Retsuko and Haida from Aggretsuko through my "GET WHAT YA GET" service! Shows with mosh pits are a great place to get drunk. Just hydrate well before and after. [ #aggretsuko #retsuko #haida #beer #alcohol #commission #myart ] --- Commission me here! vgen.co/Trundle215

Two characters from Aggretsuko, the couple Retsuko the Red Panda and Haida the Hyena. Retsuko is wearing a lavender dress, heavy leather boots and a black denim vest adorned with many patches, pins and metal studs. Haida is wearing his signature striped read sweater, black boot-cut jeans and black boots with gum soles. The pair stumble along, visibly intoxicated after spending an evening out together, beer bottles in their hands. There is a soft glow around them and the drunk bubbles form a heart between their heads.

Lessons. 🎸 #Aggretsuko #AggretsukoS3 oldie but goodie! 💝

An illustration of the anime Aggretsuko, featuring the tension of main plot line of season 3 - Inui (the dog character, in the middle with her back turned) walks away from Haida (the hyena character, who looks nervous and stressed), who she had feels for, since he still has feelings for Retsuko (the red panda character on the left), who he is giving guitar lessons to.

Indie creators shouldn’t have to turn into emotionless cryptids that appear once in a blue moon to share their works and otherwise have no online presence in order to survive *checks notes* creating a popular cartoon. But I don’t know how else they’re supposed to navigate this bullshit.

Not to mention the programming blocks that were typically a mix of game-show, sketch comedy and syndicated cartoons. At least we had quite a few of those in England.

I do not need expensive legacy sequels and reboots for my favorite series. Just do what manga authors do and draw the characters just kinda hanging out every few years. That will suffice.

I get so mad when I see older films get the life sucked out of them for the sake of making them seem more modern. I WANT the rougher texture and the original artistic intent! It's PART of it! Also, this is subjective but: why do so many attempts to modernize something make it look like shit?

Whenever someone says "My kid won't watch anything made before the year 2000" I always feel like "Well did you ever show them anything from before then as they aged or did you just show them whatever the newest thing was and let an algorithm choose the rest?" and 9/10 times I know the answer.

I hope you’re all seeing the way the gacha fandom is trying to discredit Ironmouse’s major concerns about both genAI and being lied to by a gacha company by saying “performative” and “how do we know they lied” It is much the same as when the fandom dismissed the strike efforts of VAs last year.
