It was freeing to be a younger artist with lower standards, I made so many more things I feel like now that my standards for myself are very high, the struggle now has been to fight my way back to a place where I'm more okay with flaws so more stuff gets done

I genuinely pity people who this is true for. Having literally anything about yourself locked in during your high school years sounds miserable.

That's part of what's wild about this to me. Anybody who knows anything about this technology should know it's going to just be generating new details. It can only extrapolate information from what exists, it can't reverse a mosaic filter. In terms of practical use, this is absolutely nothing.

"Fandoms got meaner after lockdown" strikes me as incredibly false tbh Nerd/geek fandoms have always been filled with people who felt socially ostracized as kids, and as a result often become hostile to people they see as encroaching on "their space."

Literally nothing these people say can be trusted, why would anybody reasonable trust this? Also, I just don't believe them. The entire core issue is you can't impose hard rules on this tech because it wasn't built to be capable of observing hard limitations.

A few weeks ago I noticed something about Sommers in One Piece: no matter what he's saying or doing, his eyebrows are always curled upwards like he's sad. Given what we know about the Knights of God, that feels like a very intentional choice to me.

I got slapped with a false claim on one of my video essays on one of my YouTube videos, appealed it, got told that the claimant said "nuh uh." When I go to continue to appeal the decision, I'm informed that I'm now locked out of my gmail account for "violating Google policies."

Nowadays this is a relatively easy fix, too. Film emulation has gotten VERY good at mimicking the color science of film. The contrast seems a little too intense to me on the DVD version, personally. But that's where dialing it in digitally helps.

People often compliment Murray Gold's composing for Doctor Who, as they should, but I've never heard anyone ever bring up how each of his Doctor themes are made from the DW Theme. The first one is the most obvious imo, with the other ones being built to be capable of playing along with that one.
