Not proud of it, but I once got creative and registered a team of 20-year-olds in a U10s tournament. Other coaches kept saying things like "you can't use them" and "they have beards" and "I think that's Myles Lewis-Skelly." But whatever happened behind the scenes, the game is won on the pitch.

Odegaard starts for Norway. He's started all of their games so far which is stupid but good to see he's shaken off Silva's assault.

The Prime Minister intervening in favour of sportswashing because they poured money into his city, and casting doubt on the independent verdict by referring to Everton, a completely different situation. staggeringly corrupt.

He won't do it like that, at least not publicly. He'll do it this way. That way he can say he stayed out of it but he's close to the City owners from his time as Mayor of Manchester and I would bet a lot on there being much more here than what we see already.

He's very clearly intervening with his comments in that about how unfair things were to Everton and how amazing the City owners are and how he wouldn't like them to sell up. Talks about 'rushing to judgement'. This makes it less likely the Football regulator, who can force sale will have teeth

What, exactly, do you think you're doing here Mr Prime Minister?
Burnham said: "Everton was in this position a few years ago and you might remember that I fought for Everton in that situation because I still hold the view very firmly that they weren't fairly treated in that process."

Drawing a comparison between that and City's current predicament, he added: "I remember people proclaiming Everton guilty at the time and with hindsight I think more people would say that wasn't fair, the way that was handled.

"So it would be wrong of me to leap to one side given the experience that I'd had before becoming prime minister."

It is "frustrating when people rush to judgement", Burnham said.

He accepted there was "a lot at stake" for City fans, the club and Manchester itself.

But he added it would be wrong for him to intervene.Asked by the BBC's political editor Chris Mason if he was concerned that Manchester City's owners would now sell the club, Burham said on Wednesday: "I would be really concerned to lose them.

"They've been such a huge partner in the building of modern Manchester and obviously the building of Manchester City into the global force that it is."Burnham, the mayor of Greater Manchester until June, added: "I do actually thank the City Football Group and the wider ownership for the money that they didn't just put into the Etihad [Stadium] and the campus around it but also into the city".

He said he was "of course" confident that his own interactions with City's owners when he was mayor would stand up to scrutiny.

"I do actually thank the City Football Group and the wider ownership for the money that they didn't just put into the Etihad [Stadium] and the campus around it but also into the city". It cost £112m to build. It cost £42m to convert into a football ground. City paid £20m. Taxpayers paid the rest.

This is insane "The prime minister said the situation was "contested by Manchester City" and he praised the club's owners since 2008 - led by Sheikh Mansour, United Arab Emirates deputy prime minister and royal family member - for investing in Manchester." They were found guilty. Of all of it.

There we go. The former Mayor of Manchester, who was very cosy with the owners of Manchester City who have been found guilty of the biggest cheating scandal in British football, would be "really concerned" if they sold the club www.bbc.co.uk/news/article...

Just realised the math, so the EFL would need to agree to only relegate two but promote three the whole way down. Everything is a mess and it's ALL City's fault.

Expulsion is not the same as relegation. If you get expelled you are gone and the only way back is from the absolute bottom, and even then I'd imagine there would be problems if they made it back to get promoted to the PL.
