First reaction, early in the ep, was "these people are FUCKED UP." Deeper into the ep, near the end, and I'd done a 180 degree turn; not necessarily in support, but at least in understanding. Tho I do think my view is tainted by comparisons to parents who over-push kids into sports - v. similar!

Extremely important story. Predictive policing is a euphemistic way of saying DHS is doing pre-crime, because of its improper access to your data. As @jakelaperruque.bsky.social says here, this takes a sledgehammer to the concept of probable cause of the commission of a crime. It can’t be reformed.
