Finished Yotsubato! Vol 7 a couple days ago. Only got two more volumes left from my last trip to Japan. Gonna have to go back and hit up the used bookstores again. $12 for a new import vs less than $2 for a used copy in Japan means the flight is practically free! (If I buy a couple hundred manga...)

If you accept his grapple, refuse the order of God demanding you resist, and completely give yourself to Ocelot's will, he kisses you and releases you. He's revealing a reluctance to end this and admitting that neither of you truly want this deadly dance to end.

Ocelot tells Snake, "We are beasts created by man." He's referring to the fact that they are sterilized clones*. More tools of war than humans who are able to breed**. Free from the social expectations to raise a family, they are able to express their true feelings by punching each other repeatedly.
*Note1: Ocelot is actually not a sterilized clone. He's a long time friend, compatriot, lover? of Big Boss who has hypnotized himself into believing he is Liquid Snake, the other clone of Big Boss and Solid/Old Snake's brother, in order to convince the AI that controls the world economy that the arm of Liquid he transplanted to replace his missing arm has allowed the spirit of Liquid to completely possess his body, even though the arm is clearly cybernetic, you stupid AI.
**Note2: I personally do not believe humanity is tied to your ability to create children, but it is a common theme in Kojima's works, where multiple people, especially women (frowny face), who are unable to breed believe themselves, or are treated as, no longer human.

Born in Marion and raised in Fairmount, Davis turned an orange cat with a big personality into a character recognized and loved around the world.
But this costume represents more than a famous Hoosier.
The hand-painted comic panels on my skirt share messages inspired by my initiative, Captivating Confidence:
"Our differences are what make us beautiful."
"If we don't have love, we have nothing."
"Outer beauty attracts, but inner beauty captivates."
To me, true confidence is found in embracing what makes each of us different and recognizing that our greatest beauty comes from within. I am so excited to bring a little Hoosier humor, creativity and confidence to the Miss Teen USA stage tonight!
