I realize now that Bleach is the thing I thought was missing in the anime one, but yeah no I read that one more than I watched it. Yu-Gi-Oh is specifically the earlier chapters, fucked up evil goblin Yugi is my favorite.

The more I think about it the more I feel like the Switch 2 is the perfect console for Sakurai to remaster Kid Icarus Uprising for. The mouse controls would be a great alternative to the stylus, and it wouldn't give my ogre hands cramps like the original sadly did.

I think young Zelda and Link are the only things I'm not 100% sure about right now, other than that I think the game looks good, Castle Town Market is gorgeous. I personally think it threads the needle stylistically pretty well but to each their own.

🕹️ Digital Visions 💿 New Orleans, 1993. The backdrop for the chain of events that propels horror novelist Gabriel Knight into the occult adventure of a lifetime - a Jane Jenson Sierra adventure. Sins of the Fathers uses the SCI2 engine and blends VGA and hi-res/ SVGA elements to great effect.

A 256 colour DOS VGA New Orleans street in the early hours of the morning; an orange sky above pale greenish-blue street lamps.

Gabriel and Grace, the protags of the game, in a cluttered bookstore. Grace sits at a desk answering a call for someone looking for Gabriel while the man himself lounges against a counter drinking coffee.

The Napoleon House, a Napoleon-themed bar (complete with busts of the man himself) with a handful of people at tables and Gabriel in his trenchcoat standing by the door.

Gabriel stands by a fence overlooking a white-brick cathedral rising above town.

I haven't really felt like posting much lately but I got a time card for XIV for my birthday, and within a few days of being back on I got an Occult Necklace of Magic in a bronze coffer in Occult Crescent and sold it for like 16 million gil, so that was pretty awesome.
