Don't forget that by buying GTA 6 you are against worker's rights and supporting corpo fuckery. What they've done is an absolute disgrace. If you struggle with that or empathy in general think about every piece of shit boss who treated you unfairly and imagine putting money directly in their pocket.

I went to meet the 'Rockstar 31', the developers who were suddenly fired from their work on GTA 6 for what the studio has described as gross misconduct. That's not what the workers call it though. They have another couple of words they prefer to use: union busting. www.youtube.com/watch?v=c9nO...

Wealth inequality is the reason for this. The wealthy are getting wealthier and can afford the constant increases in price, which drives further increases. Everyone left on the same wages for twenty years cannot.

Very late to the party, but Slay the Princess is a really interesting game. I very much enjoyed it. I especially liked how they gave the 'protagonist' a varied voice through their inner personality traits depending on what happened to him. Really brought life to it. Ironically.

I cannot stress enough: you cannot give an inch on this issue. The moment you start accepting media using genAI for "small" things or just tiny aspects of production, they will only start outsourcing more of the process to AI This is how the smallest end of the wedge is driven in against laborers

My experience with making placeholder content, is you want it to look bad. You need to be able to spot it at a glance and go "that's way too shit to be finished" so you can ensure it's replaced properly. Placeholders that can masquerade as complete assets are sketchy.
