Okay, so I finally tried out Aniimo, and: it feels like a cross between Genshin and Palworld. That's.... NOT a good thing, for me. I mean I get they have to monetize somehow but the gacha component ends up being very.... feels like you're at the casino, constantly barraged with noise.

We've had two deaths from covid at our hospital in the last 24 hours. Almost a third, but we got ROSC, twice, intubated them and shipped them to ICU. I'm not sure I will handle a resurgence well....

You know, having played Palworld in myriad modes, including variations of random, I think I have to say that the claim that random is harder is false, for one key reason: the chance to have early access to pals with far higher production levels. THAT makes up for every potential downside, really.

It's funny, the two games invoke two very different yet overlapping aspects of my mind/personality... Marvel Rivals has me thinking tactics, strategy a LOT. Brawl/poke/dive, role tasks, playing off health packs/chokes/cover. I flex, fill, adapt, focus on what I CAN control not what I can't.

Sometimes wish MR had the same culture of courtesy I recall FFXIV having. The new PvE mode allows players to access levels way above their hero/gear level and also scales by difficulty. Also there's enrage mechanics sometisms. So being a low level leech is actually an incredibly shitty thing to do.

I think I figured out part of the problem with learning new heroes in AI: I think I need to start at Hard AI. That sounds backwards to say, but it's like: Hard Ai seems to be players that actually play QP & Comp, too. Easy AI is less so... and more likely to have kids effin around, too.

I really wanna like Rocket, I do. And his orbs do indeed give HOTs and bounce which in theory SHOULD give you space to weave in some damage. And he can SHRED tanks especially, which I love But players just take damage way too easily so the orb/damage weave doesn't feel like enough...
