From a poetry collection by Mary Oliver, where after a hundred poems showcasing gentle observations on nature and animals, she hits you with this

OF THE EMPIRE
We will be known as a culture that feared death and adored power, that tried to vanquish insecurity for the few and cared little for the penury of the many. We will be known as a culture that taught and rewarded the amassing of things, that spoke little if at all about the quality of life for people (other people), for dogs, for rivers. All the world, in our eyes, they will say, was a commodity. And they will say that this structure was held together politically, which it was, and they will say also that our politics was no more than an apparatus to accommodate the feelings of the heart, and that the heart, in those days, was small, and hard, and full of meanness.

Operation Santa Claus is coming to town thanks to Bulma! #dragonball Suggested by- @/officialdelacruz_

Bulma is wearing her space suit but she modified so it’s a Santa suit with a Santa pin. Behind her it’s a red Harley that it’s her sleigh and three versions of Vegeta on the front. One Vegeta on the left is serving her gingerbread cookies with different Bulma designs, the Vegeta on the center is a “men in black” themed and on the right is a Vegeta holding a broom, ready to smack enemies.

Good morning lovely phone family. How's everyone doing today? 🥰 It's important to remember this when it feels like everyone around us is getting into the festive spirit. It's never easy losing loved ones, but somehow it always feels harder at Christmas 💔🫂 Have a great day 😘 #HaveCourageAndBeKind

Heading text: Many of us have lost someone close to us making the holidays very hard. Keep this in mind when you're out and about. You never know who's barely holding on.

Beloe is a newspaper style cartoon of two people hugging in front of an open door. There's a wonky Christmas tree in the window next to them.

Cartoon text: STILL ONE MORE THING TO WRAP: YOUR ARM AROUND SOMEONE GRIEVING A LOSS THIS CHRISTMAS.

Unfortunately I can't decipher the artist's name to include a credit.

Another study copy of Toriyama’s Bulma. The bandaids were fun #drawing #sketch #dragonball #bulma #artcommunity #study

Pencil sketch of Bulma from original Dragon Ball. She’s got one torn pant leg has goggle around her neck. She’s got one fist on her hip and a machine gun in the other, down by her leg. She smiles cheerfully with a bandaid on her cheek
