Little win on the premium bonds, I’m taking it as a sign to take the mandarin lessons if I like the trial 👍

Jenette @cornettofairy.bsky.social · 01/10/2026

I would rather wait in a phone queue of 20 than press 0 and have to say my name to an answering machine (login problems at work). It’s making me wonder how ridiculous it was of me to sign up to a mandarin class 😕🤢

Hooper, looking so up for getting out of bed and seizing the day!

I appear to have genuinely annoyed myself by signing up to something I always wanted to do, so that’s nice

I’ve just signed up to a Mandarin for beginners taster lesson. Why do I do this to myself? 🤦🏻‍♀️

I really liked the first hour and a half

I feel like I am being unfairly judged

Screen from Pursuit of Jade. Subtitles say “You need to live some normal life”

Jenette @cornettofairy.bsky.social · 22/09/2026

Where do I go when Pursuit of Jade Ends? I have Netflix UK and IQIYi. At the moment it’s between Early Spring or Love Between Fairy and Devil or Untamed or The Story of Pearl Girl or Legend of the Female General or Pursuit of Jade (again) or The Best Thing or…maybe I could cope with two?

Surprisingly stressful for a film about a man and a dog taking a walk through the mountains. I need to lie down

Daft. Funnier than expected, would watch again. Not terrible 👍

Maybe if you’re offering up a service, don’t use your name if it’s NA THANKS.

Obviously I already booked it but I didn’t know they’d found the lost pieces 😮☺️I’m very excited

If you are too tired for complicated and just want obvious baddies and car chases you could do a lot worse

Jenette @cornettofairy.bsky.social · 13/09/2026

Brendan Fraser is ace as usual 👍👍🥰. Surprisingly tense for a film about the weather with an ending we know.

This is why being adventurous is wrong and tiring (not as good as the first one).

Wow. Sweet and funny (not in a BBC Sunday afternoon way) and very unusual. I thought it was great

I can’t be the only person I know watching this. Is anybody else shouting “Kiss her you idiot” “Look at the army on that!” “OH FUCK!” and“He has nice hair but he’s a proper psychopath”? She is one hell of a woman and he is very tall and can write 👍 youtu.be/DHnaErFxcwc?...

Violent and slow but I liked it. The music was good.

Still brilliant the second time. I wish they’d have showings later in the day so more people could see it

The new girl in the petrol station caught my eye this morning. That’s the last time I experiment with keeping them open when I sneeze.

Spellcheck changed Kiki’s Delivery Service to Loki’s Delivery Service, I figure that would be quite a different film

Today was a bit shit. Highlight being stood crying at the bottom of a broken tube escalator. Someone asked me if there was anything I needed, I said a hug and bless them they did it.

I think I need contact with anyone else who's gone through the breast cancer rollercoaster recently. I've no family, nor anyone else I know that has been through it. I appreciate that you may not want to discuss this, but if you do I'd appreciate it x

Plans to build the world’s first commercial octopus farm in Gran Canaria, Spain, have been scrapped, in a major victory for octopuses and the global animal welfare movement. Octopuses are highly intelligent, curious and solitary animals, making them fundamentally unsuited to intensive farming. 🐙
