Oh wow. That was so much better than I expected. Odd and interesting

Urgh. I have fallen for the evil baddie. He is turning out to be quite nice. This is a terrible turn of events

A lot grimmer than what they taught us in primary school. I might cheer myself up by going to see The Omen later

No respecter of Sunday mornings. Bless you shuffle. Needless to say the whole album is going on now

Both creepy, both good. Other Mommy is quite daft but it did get applause at the end

I’ve done it. I’ve finally signed up for mandarin classes. Now my brain is screaming at me for being an arsehole but 🤷🏻‍♀️ I had to get around to it sometime

I’m off to see this at the cinema in a minute because it is good. I will watch Love Between Fairy and Devil before I go to bed because that’s how it works

This is my comfort programme at the moment. I’m only a few episodes in but it seems like she will drive the evil baddie nuts by accidentally making him have feelings. It’s daft.

Little win on the premium bonds, I’m taking it as a sign to take the mandarin lessons if I like the trial 👍

It was better the second time with a different audience

Hmm, well it is the weekend. No time like the present

I would rather wait in a phone queue of 20 than press 0 and have to say my name to an answering machine (login problems at work). It’s making me wonder how ridiculous it was of me to sign up to a mandarin class 😕🤢

Hooper, looking so up for getting out of bed and seizing the day!

Thank you! I’ve never signed up to proper lessons before because of crippling shyness. I will have to talk to people in a language I don’t understand. Maybe it will be easier because they’ll (hopefully) give me some grace when I start stuttering or go blank 🤞

I appear to have genuinely annoyed myself by signing up to something I always wanted to do, so that’s nice

Why didn’t I do it when I was 10?* *No access/time/money

I’ve just signed up to a Mandarin for beginners taster lesson. Why do I do this to myself? 🤦🏻‍♀️

I feel like I am being unfairly judged

Screen from Pursuit of Jade. Subtitles say “You need to live some normal life”

I might not be able to ask how to order a drink or find a train station but I might be able to lead an army and tell a general to get knotted 👍

I only put it on because someone said shadowing for foreign language learning was a good thing and now I need watch everything I can get my hands on, immediately

Where do I go when Pursuit of Jade Ends? I have Netflix UK and IQIYi. At the moment it’s between Early Spring or Love Between Fairy and Devil or Untamed or The Story of Pearl Girl or Legend of the Female General or Pursuit of Jade (again) or The Best Thing or…maybe I could cope with two?
