Couple weeks ago, I got pitched a news write-up from a rando freelancer. He'd taken a story on Meta Threads that we'd published about 45 minutes prior, run it through ChatGPT — which changed the platform's name to Strings for some reason — and then tried to sell it back to us to run on the site.
