all my heart, i hope they keep going forward with making ffxiv more accessible as time goes on. the fact the team is actually loosening up & giving new shit a shot has me the most excited to be part of this game again.

i get really tender whenever i think about how the longer people play xiv and get self indulgent with their characters and the world. everyone kinda develops their own personal eorzea & beyond… even if they only lightly dabble, it’s effected by their imagination and becomes something unique

One of my favorite things about the Leveilleur twins is how Alphie often looks like the sheltered homeschooled kid who blushes when you say "crap," and Alisaie acts like she came out of the womb saying "fuck" with devastating precision.

I've been wanting to do a redraw of this gpose since I first saw it it's so beautiful 💖 #art #FFXIV

A group of girls all with blond hair tied with a pink ribbon, bright cerulean eyes, wearing white dresses with geometric details, looking into the camera with neutral expressions, except for Ryne/Minfilia who is at the front, looking upwards with tears running down her cheeks.

On the topic of OC expression and XIV/gpose/etc, I don't know who needs to hear this but for 2026 I think you should just do it. The game won't always be here and available, and later down the line wondering "what if" is horrible. Regardless of whether or not you think it will look good, just do it.

Adjacent to this if you are in fandom spaces and derive a lot of enjoyment from making fan-art/fanfic. Just do it. Like whatever it is, just do it. Just have fun. Do it because you like it.

Happy 99th birthday to the man who gave voice to the wild. 🎉 Sir David Attenborough, thank you for a lifetime dedicated to the natural world, and for sharing its story with wisdom, wonder, and grace. You've inspired generations to fall in love with nature.

This photograph captures Sir David Attenborough seated outdoors on the rugged terrain of Skomer Island. Behind him, the ocean and coastal cliffs form a scenic backdrop under a clear sky. Sir David, dressed in a khaki jacket and light trousers, looks towards the camera with a gentle expression, exuding a sense of warmth, calm, and wisdom. Around him, puffins can be seen flying and perched on the rocky ground, illuminated in rays of golden sunlight as the sun sets behind the cliffs.

An adult version of my design for Kovu and Kiara’s son! There’s a little story in my head where he gets all mixed up with a group of vultures or buzzards and learns through them how to access and communicate with the dead. (Which many Pridelanders disapprove of)
