You probably could just do full backup on weekends and incremental between for smaller backup sizes and also skip thumb/ and temp/ so you don't grab all the resized variants of everything since they can be regenerated

Honestly, I put the most time into Xbox Series X because with Game Pass it's an open buffet of awesome games that I'd never otherwise find and has some of my favorite all-time games like Outer Wilds and Kingdom Come. But it feels weird adding it to this list.

Apparently early versions of xell had a recovery mode accessible if you power on the console using the 360 remote, so I suppose that could be used but most people don't have one. Or maybe check if the console is in syncing mode by the time it loads your plugin (e.g. press sync right after start)?
