Yesterday's news about Jacob Geller broke my heart, so much that I couldn't stop dwelling on it all day. In an effort to make sense of this horrific news and my admittedly complicated feelings about it, here is my article on the Jacob Geller situation: epiloguegaming.com/what-do-we-d...

What Do We Do With Jacob Geller? - Epilogue Gaming

Earlier this week, a friend noticed Jacob Geller’s book, How A Game Lives, sitting amongst my living room shelves. Under almost any other circumstances, this would have been an exciting invitation for...

If you're a visual artist relying on commissions as part of your livelihood, and relies on social media to show art to bring in future customers? I cannot stress enough the importance of writing alt text. Many of us who would otherwise extend your reach reposting won't if your images lack alt text.

I remember a really frustrating conversation with a generally decent cishet white guy about a news story where a woman was roofied. he went off about wishing he could beat that guy up to avenge her, and I was like "how about start with calling out your friends' sexist tweets?" and he was like 😳

Okay my brain is happier now that I have Thoughts visualized Her gear leans more Shadowlands because she built most of her armor and such from scraps in the Maw while making her way thru Torghast. Harness for grappling and vials for poisons and tinctures!

she works with him to track down Alleria and also during the initial battle at the Sunwell Because lbr she is a thinly veiled self insert and I’m a sucker for protective sweethearts lmfao (the only reason she isn’t a trans twink atp is because there is no in game option for twink Night Elf guy)

Sam | Conjette @conjette.art · 24/09/2026

Anyway I’m now like. Tempted to draw her and Arator and Anduin chatting theres some potential angst in “the young love that never could be” between her and Anduin (unrequited crush on her part, trauma bondiiiing!) that turns into a growing affection for Arator when—

I’m being SO NORMAL about my rogues backstory now. SO NORMAL.

A sketch page of my rogue Theralyn Nettlepalm with text about her past:
night elf displaced from Auberdine as a child during Cataclysm, becomes an alchemist to aid healers in Darnassus from Mists of Pandaria to Warlords of Draenor. Struck out on her own to learn more during Legion, joined up with the Uncrowned to supply poisons and potions. Burning of Teldrassil caused her to undergo Night Warrior ritual and began fighting in earnest to protect peers and support an end to the war…by eliminating Sylvanas. Events of Shadowlands had her chase after Sylvanas into the Maw, becoming entangled in main campaign as a Maw Walker. Loses her left eye in Torghast trying to rescue allies. Timeskip and Dragonflight had her wandering the world looking for purpose, taking odd jobs, eventually settling in Amirdrassil after the events of 10.2. Was in Dalaran on Uncrowned business during the crash, focuses on Anduin and Hallowfall during campaign (mostly because she refuses to let Anduin get kidnapped again.)

If this becomes a trend with NPCs, I’m not gonna complain. At all.

Sam | Conjette @conjette.art · 24/09/2026

I finished the main campaign and boy howdy I did not expect <REDACTED> to freakin DIE. Absolutely worth it tho. Turalyon remains exceedingly punchable, Arator still best boy, Alleria FINALLY here and kicking ass, and Decimus…. ….you writers know what you did 😗🫣 what a lovable evil shithead

IDIOT like almost the entire rest of the Lights Vanguard, mwah. Chefs kiss. I love seeing my boys growth 🥹💖 Lor‘themar being the most reasonable major faction leader we’ve had in a long time also is really. Really refreshing. Like WOW I don’t feel like I’m following the whims of a madman!

Also, seeing the way Zul’jan is idolizing his idea of the “old days” of the Amani empire is giving very big radical nationalist political pipeline vibes. How relevant to current events, I wonder if anyone will learn from this (they won’t) Also. Anduin standing up for Umbric, because he’s not an—

Last night I binged thru Arators part of the campaign and Zul Aman, and oh my GOD. I’m loving the messy family dynamics actually meaning something in this expansion, I’m loving how Arator and Zul’jarra both decided to diverge from their family’s ideologies to make things better for the *people*—

I know I’m SO late to the WoW Midnight campaign (I’ve been sick and busy its FIIIINE) but I’ve just started and I am having a few immediate feelings: 1- Turalyon is EXCEEDINGLY punchable. Like. Holy shit how has Lor’themar not decked him? Can I punch him?? Please? 2- Arator is best boy.

Quick thing on etiquette towards sfw artists

infographic saying "How to comment on sfw artist's posts: your fursona is cute! what brushes do you use? this reminds me of a cute anecdote about my loved one. I would love to see more of your art! funny comment in relation to a sfw drawing" side not saying; "Note: boundaries vary by artist, these are just the common etiquettes if you don't know an artist personally and don't wish to be blocked!"

infographic saying; "How to comment on sfw artist's posts Don't: are you the alt account of an nsfw artist or controversial film director? Your art reminds me of an nsfw artist or controversial film director's work. highly nsfw comments on sfw art or fursona. Can I date you? Sending explicit images or gifs. You follow so and so and I'm warning you about-Save this for DMs!!" bottom side not says; "Note: Even if a SFW artist DOES have an nsfw account, it is still considered in extremely poor taste to mention said account on their sfw if they are kept separate."

I don’t think many nondisabled people realize that laws mandating accommodations are purposefully weak. Your employer gets to decide what an “undue burden” is. They hardly ever get called to account anyway, but if they do, they can cry about money or work hours or pretty much anything they like.
