Sorry it's come to this. Husband had to give up coaching for health reasons & still misses it 30yrs later. He got as much out of it as the kids did. Pls rethink your decision bcos it's you and the kids who lose out. As long as the parents are bitching about you and not to you, what does it matter?

Councils should have staff who just go around and sort out minor problems they see. Bag of rubbish - collect it. Street sign a bit wonky - straighten it. Overgrown weeds - pull them. All those small jobs. They're the things that make a place better to live if they're resolved.
