Yes, there are more examples than we probably realise, e.g. sanction, cleave, clip (as in attach or cut off). Whenever such words crop up in language lessons it sounds a bit mad to say: well it actually means the opposite here.

That’s what I surmised in the context. When I see the word ‘shelled’ with reference to nuts, I automatically think it means without their shells, so I had to read it again in context. It’s called an auto-antonym, or a Janus word.

IMO looking at the last two years I think offering Covid-19 vaccinations in June or July and aiming to have as much coverage as possible before schools resumed in September may have made the most sense. Ontario waiting until the end of October for most is starting too late.
